With a deep sense of respect towards the surrounding environment, Mur Mur has created a concept revolving around the true identity of Mexican cuisine and depending exclusively on the resources provided by the land and the sea of the Yucatan peninsula. Focusing on local ingredients and minimally interfering with the raw material, Mur Mur creates original and provocative dishes, based on the culinary philosophy of seasonality and taking the best of what nature has to offer every specific time of the year. The alfresco dining experience includes amazing dishes cooked in the brick oven, which are accompanied by impressive, fruit-forward, mezcal or tequila cocktails. The restaurant first opened its doors in 2015 under the guidance of one of Mexico’s top chefs, Diego Hernandez, for whom sustainability is a key-element to the future of cooking in general.
