The building hosting this beautiful all-day bar restaurant for over two decades now is of huge historical significance to the island, as it belonged to heroine of the Greek War of Independence Manto Mavrogenous, a revolutionary soul who spent her entire fortune for the Hellenic cause. From early in the morning until late at night, Kazarma awaits to offer unobstructed views to the island’s famous mascot pelican going in and out of the sea and the beautiful people strolling up and down the shore. Enjoy a cool coffee, a freshly squeezed juice, a refreshing cocktail or a glass of fine wine, while sampling delicious dishes of Greek cuisine with a creative touch and an international flair. From the vine leaves sushi with yogurt flavoured wasabi to the gravlax salmon and from the shrimp “papoutsakia” to the traditional chilopites (Greek pasta), the menu of Kazarma celebrates out-of-the-box thinking and cooking. The friendly staff is always there to welcome you with a huge smile.
