Aghios Giannis
Saint John, or more adequately Aghios Ioannis, beach is a relatively small but amazingly beautiful sandy cove, lying just next to Ornos. This is where the famous ‘80s movie Shirley Valentine was shot and it constitutes the perfect choice for families or couples, looking for a laid-back all-day experience, somewhat detached from the high-glam factor, present at most of the other cosmopolitan beaches on the island. Parking can turn out quite tough during peak season, but the special ramp for people with disabilities is one thing surely worth mentioning.
